Weapons
Weapons are the most common type of equipment. With each successful strike, their durability degrades by one point (ex: a 45/45 weapon would go to 44/45 after a successful hit on the opponent). When the weapon hits 0, they break, vanish, and are unusable. There are exceptions to this rule, however. Such exceptions will be listed on the weapons themselves.
You can own as many weapons as you have room for but can only have one equipped at a time. In skirmishes, you can change your weapons once a turn, only before attacking, but in arena battles the weapon you use is your default equipped one (Either one listed as equipped or the top one in your inventory that you can use).
Armor
Armor is the other type of equipment and it doesn't break normally. Armor is broken down into five categories; head, body, arms (generally called hands by me), legs, and accessory. Armor only takes up inventory space when not equipped. The only piece able to be changed during a skirmish is Accessory.
Head is helms, hats, and anything else that goes on the head. They generally boost defense and some of the higher ones can modify hit and avoid.
Body is body armors, shirts, dresses, and the like. In most cases they have the highest defense of the armor types. They can also grant access to defensive skills.
Arms are things like gauntlet and gloves. They modify accuracy and sometimes avoid.
Accessory is the armor pieces everyone knows and loves (or hates when used against them).
Items
Items are the things that don't fit into the last categories. They vary from healing vials to keys and jewels. Promotion and Enhancement items are the only ones that can be used outside of skirmishes. Each item will plainly state their use.
