Ark winces at the impact of the arrow. He clenches the object, and pulls it out, giving a sigh. Another hit would be bad, of that there was no doubt. But there was little else he could do but shoulder the pain and continue onwards. Rushing forward, he moves inbetween the two Archers, and slash a slice of wind at one.

"This don't look good, Niva..."
The girl was right from her view. They were outnumbered and the enemies had some skill. This would not have been trouble if it was just Marcus and his thugs, but the other group that appeared was just too much. They would need luck to be on their side if they were going to win this battle. The girl shook herself and cleared her throat. Niamh giving support to that guy with the black cloak was out of the question since it would put her in range of Marcus, too. That meant...
"Niva! Heal the big-sword who got shot! Sword guy, take out one of those rushers if ya can!"
If they listened, that would just leave herself and that one lady who got rushed by the brigand and myrmidon. She would hopefully heal herself. All Vivi could do was run and play target for that dang archer or rush in and play target for the rest... Both were bad, but the second would be what she did. Couldn't be telling the others she ran around watching her own hide after all. Vivienne rushed straight at the thief who had appeared with the other thugs. He was probably the only one she could match so he was her target. She spun the sickle in her hand before striking...
While Vivienne attacked the thief, Niamh walked over to the mercenary. He had been shot, but the wound was not as bad as it could be.
"Clench your teeth... This may hurt..."
The healer grabbed the arrow as tightly as she could and yanked it with all her might until it came out of the punctured flesh of the mercenary. She could only imagine how much it hurt, but it had to be done. She then held her staff to the wound as a white wave of light washed over it. When Niamh removed the staff it was as if the wound had never existed.

"Oww!"
*He despised arrows. He didn't take to them as well as Ark did though he did take to them better than the guy with the ball of light floating around. Whimpering slightly as he teared at the eyes, feeling no pain the white wave passed over him and mended the wound.*
"Yay!"
*Flexing his arm right after, life was so much more fun with a healer around. He hated archers and wanted to go and teach the bum a lesson for shooting him, but taking care of the charge took priority. He didn't like that the lady who just healed him was in the open near them all too.*
"Thanks! I'll do my best!"
*The myrmidon wouldn't know what hit him: That was the general plan right now. Plus the guy was fast with his sword so it wasn't a smart idea to let him stick around for long. Moving out, he tossed his sword upward, jumping after it as he caught it and made a perfect landing by the trees, bringing his sword down on the swordsman. Darn thugs and bunch coming out of nowhere.*

Hearing the warning, Elaine moved out of the way, watching the blade of wind cut down the myrmidon she was fighting. That lowered the numbers again at least. The next myrmidon was unexpectedly struck down by the mercenary's sword, things were getting hectic all over the place right now.

~Enemy Phase~ Marcus made no move still, the archer taking aim for Vivi before letting loose his shot. Hopefully she'd be able to avoid it, the myrmidon going over to Ark and striking him with his sword, felling the Spell Blade who tried to remove their archer. The brigand swiped again at Elaine, Noland finally making a move as the man with dead eyes set his sights on Niamh, firing an arrow at her next. He had been the end for most of the fighters thus far despite his lowered amount of arrows. The thief avoided Vivi, swiping at her before swiping at Melody right after. Ark tried to pulled back as the Mymidon came upon him, but the wound from the Archer hindered his movements just enough for the man to land a blow on him, wincing at the impact of the blow. He gripped the weapon impaled in him by its blade, and forcibly removed it, before blowing the swordsman away with a gust of wind, signaled by the Spell Sword swiping his weapon across the air. He falls to a knee, breathing heavy. "Bah. Seems like I'll be useless for a bit. Sorry guys."[/color] he says, seemingly unbothered by the sword wound. Slipping away, he shouldered the burden while moving so he would not be a hindrance.

The archer had taken a shot at Vivi too, while the thief had taken to the girl with the odd sword that shot out wind. The other one had been taken out by the myrmidon, and the cleric was in danger of the odd archer too. He seemed more battle tested than the other though, plus the one she was after was injured. Heading over to finish him off, they had to reduce the enemy numbers before they could think about anything else.

*The guy who had come to aid them had been taken out, and now it came down to dealing with the brigand next to him. After this, they'd be down to a swordsman, a thief, that guy who had been antagonizing them for some bit now, and the big boss. Bringing his sword down in an angle and a clean shot, he took the brigand out in a flash. Almost all done now.*

Melody shook her head at the thief and looked towards the myrmidon in the forests nearby. If she could take him down then things would be easier. The thief would be of minor issue at this point, the bigger threats came first. Dashing off into the forests, Melody grasped her Wind Splitter and jumped into the forest, swinging horizontally as she entered to let loose a wave of wind that tore through at the myrmidon.

The thief dodged way too easily. Vivienne needed to work on her aim. For now, though... She looked around to see what was going on. The bandit fell so he was no worry anymore. The first archer fell, too. The guy with the black cloak retreated so that hurt them. Niamh was hurt, but had already removed the arrow and was uncorking her vulnerary. They were okay, for now. There was still the now-injured myrmidon, the thief who could dodge, the sick archer, and Marcus to deal with. She should...
Vivi stuck out her tongue at the thief and ran directly at the myrmidon. Chances are the sword user would be easier to hit, plus it would help them more if he was taken out. She struck twice with her sickle.
While Vivienne attacked, Niamh looked at Noland, who had shot at her. Her wound was healed thanks to the vulnerary - She wished she could figure a way to use her staff on herself - and the archer was looking like less of a threat to her. He was still an inconvenience, though.
"We should probably take care of the pest with the bow soon..."

~Enemy Phase~ The thief kept his eyes on the prize rather than to go after the girl who had stuck her tongue out at him. Running out and behind the cleric as she mentioned the pest with a bow, he snatched her vulnerary from her. The odd archer ignoring words and instead going after the already injured Melody, notching another arrow and letting it fly despite her being able to use her odd sword to strike back at him. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Marcus: No Movement Thief: HP: 10/10 F9----: D10: Steal vs Niamh: Vulnerary Stolen Noland: HP: 24/25 B9-----: C7: Battle vs Melody ~ Noland vs Melody: Combat: 11 Damage 55% Accuracy 6% Critical Hit: [dice=100] Crit: [dice=100] Counter: Melody: Damage - 4 Accuracy - 42% Critical Chance - 7% Critical Damage - 18 Hit: [dice=100] Crit: [dice=100] ~Ally Phase~ [rand=936417401496780400435066033752162800157962504770470255326737657879491]

Niamh realized that the thief was behind her too late. She took a swing at where the thief was just seconds ago - and missed. The thief had managed to swipe her vulnerary. How could she be so careless as to not pay attention to him? It was not like she lacked experience dealing with people with long fingers; Vivi was just like this child when it came taking things that did not belong to her. She stared at the thief for one long moment, before walking away. Niamh looked at the girl that she entered the skirmish with.
"Vivi, please take care of this ill-mannered child, please. I have a wound to fix."
The wound she was speaking of was caused by that very thief. Niamh walked over to the girl attacked by the thief and, after checking the cut to make sure nothing was in it, she pressed the heal staff to the girl's injury. Just like when the mercenary was healed, a bright light emitted from the staff and the wound was completely erased.
While Niamh was taking care of the one person, Vivienne charged at the thief. No one, absolutely no one messed with her friends stuff except her! She leaped into the air and brought her not-a-weapon down on the thief's location. A few seconds after her feet touched the ground, she sliced at him again. She was not aiming at anything vital, of course, but the thief would be hurting for weeks to come if either of her attacks against him landed.

Melody nodded and smiled to the healer before replacing her sword and grasping the Iron Sword she had on her side opposite to Wind Splitter. Melody spun her sword once before jumping out of the forest and slide next to the archer. He wouldn't be able to attack her now from such a close distance, and if anything they could easily stop him from getting anywhere. "No escape now." She says to him before swinging her sword to crash into the man.

Down to just their primary problem then, the guy who had been shooting each of them with an arrow thus far. With everyone else out of the way he had no more protection, closing the distance so he wouldn't be able to let loose another of those many fine arrows, Elaine swiped her sword twice at the archer. He was pretty sturdy for being an archer too.

~Enemy Phase~ The thief partially regretted taking that item now, dropping his blade and running off afterward. He'd be feeling that for a long time to come now. Noland on the other hand was struck by Zet's sword, a talisman landing on the ground before succumbing to his various injuries, dropping to the ground. Marcus decided that his prey was up for the kill now, running down and out in the open for them even at that. "Now then, let's begin! *Picking up the talisman, Zet recognized it as that thing that helped magic resistance. He sucked at taking hits from magic more than he liked taking an arrow, but he wouldn't keep it for himself. Not after so many people had helped him out after all, heading off to meet Marcus head on.*
"With pleasure!"
*Closing the distance in an instant, Zet lashed out with his sword. Using it to try and parry whatever counter the fighter sent at him before bringing his sword out again on the man. He had the advantage in speed and choice of weaponry, but a single hit could prove practically fatal from this guy.*

Vivi picked up the dropped knife and turned it around to examine it. Was a pretty good knife and was barely damaged. She bet all the damage to it came from this skirmish. The girl smiled and slipped the knife under her cloak. It was hers now, after all. She sent that brat running, after all. After taking the knife, she hopped out of the woods and grabbed Niamh's hand. She whispered "Let's watch from somewhere safe..." to the healer and pulled her along to the clump of trees to the west.
Niamh, while being pulled along, noticed that the girl was bleeding. That was odd considering how she usually acted. The healer tapped the girl's knife wound and healed it. This brought it to the attention of the little thief who had not yet noticed it. Her reaction, of course, was expected.
"Ack! I'm bleedin'! Niva, help! Stop it! Get it off!"
The healer could not help but chuckle at the girl's reaction. It was amusing, plus the thought that the girl had not realized it until AFTER being healed made it even more so.
"Relax, Vivi... I have already healed you, remember?"
"But... Blood! Get it off! Please!"
"We cannot go wasting out drinking water to wash a bit of blood off you. Just relax for a bit."
"Please getitoff anyways!"
"What did I just say?"
"But-!"
"Vivienne. Stop it. It is just blood and your blood at that. It will not hurt you."
Niamh shook her head and turned to watch the rest of the battle. All that was left was to beat down the very bandit they had stepped in the skirmish for. So far he had not struck anyone, but it was only a matter of the time. She was sure the others could tell just how painful getting even a glancing blow would be, but...
"Strike him down swiftly, but be cautious to not be struck! His axe is as sharp as his mind is dull and arm is strong!"
While Niamh warned the others in the odd group that had temporarily formed, Vivi was facing away from the battle and was sitting on the ground. She was pretending to be interested in a grasshopper, but was truly just pouting at the fact she had to stay a bit bloody for now.
