The rider's greed had caught up to him, being struck by the javelin and falling off of his wyvern, the wyvern going down with him. How it happened, who knew really, but the flagbearer obviously was a lot better than he made himself out to be.

Thanks to luck and odds working against him, Resin was left all on his own. Which of course meant that he was screwed unless miracles started to happen. This wouldn't make him retreat on the other hand, instead making him work harder and hoping the villagers could at least escape. Seeing that the brigand could fight at a distance and would likely close the distance between them shortly enough, he drew an arrow, aimed and fired it off at the man while closing the distance, preparing to fight to the finish if possible.

The wyvern rider was down, from one blow... and it was his! The flagbearer couldn't help but feel pride at that. He retrieved his spear before checking the battle. Maybe he had decided to run bit too early...
The knight advanced towards the final combatant, ignoring the villager. There was no reason for him to waste his time with that one. He did, after all, want to make sure that archer got struck down if he managed to avoid the brigand.
The cleric quickly rushed to the injured brigand and yanked the arrow out of his flesh (with a wince from the brigand, of course) and closed the wound with the power of the heal staff. After that, she stepped back as the brigand rushed forward to try to deliver the final blow on the resistance.
