Rain and his steed proceeded then, moving off and heading into the nearby trees. The trees surrounded the armory, but he made certain he was still in sight just to edge on the intruders. If they thought they could maraud around and he would do nothing to them, they had another thing coming.

'So it came down to fighting in the end. They were outnumbered one to four however, so they had to play it safe for now. Some people might get caught in their own fight, but she wasn't worried about that. From the looks of it, the mage and troubadour weren't entirely in the fight unlike the rest.....now. Now she remembered who they were! She remembered seeing them listed as wanted criminals, the same as that archer on the ship back then. But maybe she could voice some sort of reason to not have to fight them...maybe. Only time would tell there.'

The variety of fighters made it somewhat difficult enough already, however that wasn't their only problem. Charlene had moved for good reason, spotting the enemy archer in their midst. Glancing to Railone, she nodded too as she proceeded to move back some just in case too. Being caught by an arrow was the last thing she wanted, but she would guarantee that archer wouldn't be there for much longer.

Rain had started them off as always, so it was up to them to keep going. Thor went in, aiming to reduce the sword swingers while Railone herself went off to handle the lancer of a cavalier. Thor had ended it in one swift twirl of his lance before running the myrmidon through, kicking him off his lance afterward as Railone struck at her own foe twice, lowering their numbers further. So far so good, but they still had an archer to deal with...for Charlene and Rain she supposed then.

Rain wasted no time heading in to weaken the offensive of the enemy furthermore. The cavalier was the next threat with all their lancers about, so he proceeded to bump him off next. Rushing in as he slashed with his sword before his steed moved back to avoid the counter, going in for a swift thrust through the chest after, withdrawing his blade and letting the man's body slump over. Now came the rest.

The scum had aimed to take down Charlene, but she had managed to pull through thankfully. He headed on over to check up on her, noticing the Iron Blade there. She couldn't wield it, none of them could except for himself actually. He picked it from the fallen knight, placing it among his others as he looked to Charlene next.
"Are you alright? How are you holding up after all of that? Still...we have three remaining and no clear value of if they're better than their predecessors."

'She had managed to avoid the more lethal strikes, but thanks to her focus on those she received a pretty nasty strike to her left arm. She managed to strike the man down anyway, but flying around with an injured arm wouldn't do them any good at all right now. Thankfully she wouldn't have to, given they were the last of the ones nearby. She let Rain have the sword, looking to him for the time being.'
"A little shaken by them all coming at me at once, but I could be better. I don't like the bleeding or the pain from getting hit, even if I'm used to it somewhat. Still...I recognize them. The mage and troubadour worked together with that archer back on your ship, and the brigand looks like an unknown. I think I can talk to those two, but the other guy not so much."

They had been listening during the time, and since Charlene had gone off, it left Rain nearby. They would need to distract the brigand likely, Thor heading in first. He couldn't reach, but he knew the foe could feel his gaze upon him at this point. Furthermore, Railone went off, a flap of the wyvern's wings letting the dust fly and letting the man know that she was right beside him. While he held the weapon advantage at the time, that didn't mean that she couldn't distract him for a time. When she was done, hopefully the others could take her place. It didn't look like she could hold the man off for very long. She would do her best however.

It looked like talking ensued, and despite protests from the troubadour, the mage set out to engage in battle. Headed for Charlene since she was the closest nearby to the troubadour herself, he cast a fireball down upon her in the attempt of burning her with his magic. "Forgive me, but I have no choice!" Meanwhile, the brigand saw fit to laugh in Railone's own face. So she thought she was worthy of being a distraction for himself, eh? Well fine by him then. "A wee little child like yourself thinks they can handle me, Farkins!? Will wonders never cease!" He immediately jumped in the air, bringing the halberd down wildly at her. 'She made an attempt to avoid the attack, but it came as no surprise that she was unable to. The mage was talented certainly, but obviously he was being forced into this fight. He couldn't overpower that brigand, that much was certain. But he was protecting the troubadour more than anything else. Smoke rose from her own body from being hit directly by the flames, but she would shrug it off for now before she would turn back. She went to visit the home first given there was no guarantee it was completely safe here yet.'
"It's too foggy out and it is unsafe out here. Please close and barricade your doors until the fighting is over with!"
'If no one was home, that was fine too. Their lives wouldn't be in danger, though their possessions would be. She next flew over next to the mage himself, landing down beside him. Instead of attacking, she dismounted instead while keeping her lance in hand. She wanted to be ready just in case reasoning didn't work here.'
"You're Frank, right? And I assume that to be Maria not too far away from you. We have no reason to fight you, so if you turn a blind eye and leave now we won't pursue either of you. We'll handle the brigand ourselves. Besides, wanted people shouldn't be out and about like this in my opinion."

The people quickly got to work barricading their own door as told. Charlene managed to find a beautifully decorated robe on her way back, not belonging to the people obviously. That or they had given it to her as a quick gift for the warning.
Afterward, the mage readied himself for battle before he noticed that she stopped instead of using her lance. She was stronger than him in a fight, he could tell right there. If they fought, she would win...but she offered something else instead. She seemed to know him and Maria, likely from the posters up for their arrest. He wanted to protest, but Maria spoke up first.
"We should listen to her offer, brother."
He stopped then, looking back to his sister. He thought about it before he turned back to face the pegasus knight before he looked down to the ground while speaking.
"You would...really do that for us?....Alright then. Thank you. Let's go, sister."
She nodded, the mage moving over to her and getting on the back of the horse before they rode off, vanishing into the fog. The brigand shouted some kind of protest, but he was obviously distracted by his outnumbered position now. He was alone against the remnants now....

She had evaded the attack and struck back, though she missed one of her attacks thanks to wanting to evade properly. If she had just pushed it a bit harder, then maybe she could have managed regardless. She pressed the attack still since she could continue to fight, Thor passing her and taking to the trees for some shelter. He wasn't as sturdy as she was in fighting, so he would need the added advantage as he thrust with his own lance too.
"It's time to end this. Charlene's idea worked after all."
Railone could agree there. Who knew that they would listen to reason actually? Then again, who wouldn't if they were being held hostage? This guy was tough sure, but he wouldn't win against them no matter what he tried!

So it came down to this, huh? Charlene had been right about letting her handle the other two. While he didn't appreciate letting them roam free, he supposed that honestly it was fine for now. They would learn from one close encounter already, heading over to Farkins himself next.

However, things didn't go as planned, being struck down by Rain's blade just like the Berserker before who had attempted such. Dropping down to his knees, he fell to the ground afterward. Looked like they had won the day in the end after all. He wasn't completely dead yet however, chuckling to himself weakly afterward. What was funny though...?
